Shri jasnath asan (ashram) lies in the heart of western Rajasthan in the village of panchla siddha ( which literally means “ place of deep meditation “) near khimsar approximately 100km. from jodhpur and 60km. from Nagaur. |

It is one of the oldest ashrams in the marwar region the great saint shri Boyat ji maharaj,
the direct disciple of shridev Jasnath ji, founded the ashram over 500 year age. Many siddhas (saints) performed their sadhana (spiritual practices) hare. Thus it is a siddh Peath (spiritually enlivened place) highly charged with spiritual energy. These saints spread knowledge and wisdom among the villagers, uplifting their lives, benefiting many people by them yogic power. |

As the fame of shri jasnath Asan spread, the then Maharana (king) of Udaipur, shri Jagatsingh sponsored the construction of the fort (garh) like structure of the ashram building. The Maharaja (king) of Jodhpur, Shri Jagatsingh donated land for cultivation the grazing of animals and environmental purposes. |

Special certificates, letters engraved on bronze plates and historical papers bear witness to its history and importance. The ashram also has in its possession a huge amount of ancient literature related to Tantra yoga and spiritual practices. |

Shri Jasnath Asan is altogether unique in its architecture and art. It has been lovingly restored and refurnished by its present Adhisthata (head), Siddh Surajnath Yogi, who with atmost devotion has preserved and continues to develop the living heritage of this predecessors. |

Upon entering the newly constructed outer wall the visitor is immediately attract by the beauty of the fort like ashram structure, its imposing gateway with original metal studded wooden doors. |

Pujas (rituals) are performed twice daily in the asan mandir (ashram temple) behind which, in a protected area, set among holy trees are the Samadhis (graves) of the great siddhs (saints) of the ashram. |

There are 10 rooms within the ashram itself, equipped with all the necessary facilities for the comfort of the visitor. Pure drinking water is provided by a rain water collection tank, and there is a solar heating system for hot water for bathing within the outer wall is a Dharamsala (pilgrims rest home) providing additional accommodation, as well as a spacious newly constructed meditation hall for yoga practice lovingly prepared organic food, as far as possible grown on the ashram’s own land, is provided to all visitors, and has proven to be one of the highlights of the ashram experience. All meals one on a pure lacto vegetarian basis. |
