Testimonials

"5 days after arriving at the ashram, with daily yoga class and individual therapy for back, hips and knees, I can almost sit cross-legged on the floor – what an improvement from just a week ago. The environment of the ashram – organic food, clean water and air, friendly staff makes it a remarkably welcoming place for both locals and foreigners. The only sounds are the birds, the sweeping broom, gentle singing, the wind, and the ringing of the temple bell. Puja has been a very moving experience, thank you for including us."

"Thank you for this wonderful week in your ashram. I came the second time here and it will not be the last. I feel my mind is very awake, my attention increasing. Staying here was very important to finding my own spirituality."

I would like to thank everyone at Shri Jasnath Asan for a perfect stay. Each day has been a pleasure for me: kindness, hospitality, laughter, delicious food – a special spirituality and energy I have not found before. The yoga week was the "icing on the cake". Namaste.

Namaste. Thank you all for the wonderful hospitality and that I could enjoy my stay here together with such lovely and open-hearted people.

My heart is filled with so much love and devotion for this experience. This is beyond what I expected to feel. I am sad to leave, but know I will see you again. Your humble generosity will live in my heart forever. Your presence and words have helped me know that I am truth and love. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Light, love and blessings.

We would like to thank everyone at Shri Jasnath Ashram for this extraordinary experience: new ideas, the very peaceful atmosphere, the attentiveness in every aspect and last but not least, the wonderful delicious food! Namaste. Best Wishes

I have so much improvement in my eyesight, I can thread a needle again.

"I stopped running because I’ve had plantar fasciitis for the good part of a year now. I considered fancy foot devices and even surgery. I tried yoga therapy with Shree first. She gave me some stretching moves, nothing weird like standing on one foot with your leg behind your ear. Everything was from the floor. She approached the problem from a medical point of view first to show me exactly why I was having the problem. I had a one hour education/demonstration session with her. Then we consulted weekly through the internet. Guess what happened? In about 3 weeks I have NO more pain when I get up in the morning. And now I’m running again! Thanks, Shree!"

"One of the best places under the Indian sun! Ashram in the heart of Rajasthan with ashram family. Working with them is a "laughter yoga." I recommend this magic place and seva program. You can join in the work and know friendly people, learn yoga, eat delicious food, have a charming room and blissful tranquility"

"Life can be beautiful. I didn’t believe it anymore before arriving at ashram…And now…
THANK YOU"

"I thank you from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me all these months to do seva with such loving people. The family is so kind, they made me feel like it was home. I have found the best in me through hard work. It wasn't always easy, but I am grateful I did it. It is a beautiful and peaceful environment with a lot of spiritual blessings."

This was my first time in an ashram in India and even if I had no expectations at all I was positively surprised. This place is a real jewel in the middle of nowhere. To be honest I had to fight with myself whether to write or not a review because I would like to keep this hint only for me and my best friends.

I loved my stay at this rural, authentic, spiritual place in the middle of Rajasthan, and enjoyed the company of the lovely people so much! It is the best place for the full Indian experience and great yoga teaching practice. The Asan provided me a great environment for a focused study, it is so peaceful but has so much real Energy. I learned so much, made many new friends and ate the most amazing food every day. The campus is very well maintained and is a comfortable home. My stay of three weeks was way too short so I will come back for a longer visit soon, with my family because it is one of the best things in my life. Thank you so much!

After staying with the ashram family for three weeks, I was given the opportunity to lead a five day children’s yoga camp for local 9-12 year olds. Shree, the director of Yoga Programs, was a great support and all other members of the Ashram were very kind and always lent a hand. I had assistant teachers from the community to keep everyone focused and having fun. The final performance was an added bonus, for the children to demonstrate what they learned to their family and friends: martial arts, dance, song, mantra and of course asana. It was an amazing experience to run my own program here, teaching the local children the Yoga traditions. I know this little experience has changed their lives, and mine as well. I will be back!

I did the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course here at the Shri Jasnath Asan Ashram, certified by Yoga Alliance, and highly recommend it to everyone who wants to have a deep and spiritual yoga experience. The Ashram and its family provide a true spiritual space where you can intensely learn about the authentic roots and basics of Hatha Yoga. This course is definitely for people, who are looking not only for the physical, but also the philosophical dimension of Yoga. You will leave the Ashram with a lot of inspiration and a grater idea of what yoga means and that it includes all the aspects of leading a happy and healthy life.
