“This Ashram aims to uplift the quality of human life.”

Shri Jasnath Asan (SJA) conducts its program around a simple understanding, a perspective defined by Guru Gorakhnath and his disciple Shridev Jasnath – All Humanity has an abiding connection to Nature.  In this sense, Shridev Jasnath uses the term abide to mean to remain; continue; stay. The ashram’s projects, services, and products all seek to explain how we abide Nature, remain true to the original creation energy, stay attuned to its messages, and remain close to it, united. We plant trees, rehabilitate animals, protect water, and uplift the underprivileged so their inner Nature can expand and contribute to our world. Many guests who visit us abide Nature in many other ways; they protest destruction, save girl babies, pick up rubbish, and build natural habitats for birds. Still others teach children how to protect Nature, pass laws governing over development, or educate the public about the poisons in processed foods. There are a myriad number of ways each of us can contribute to strengthening Nature. How do you abide Nature?
